Flying through VT

My apologies for a delay between posts. I   hiked a five day stretch along the Long Trail in VT without getting off. (North Adams,  MA to Killington, VT.) I was anxious to meet Bryson and to knock out some big mile days before hitting the White Mountains in NH.

The Long trail was quite an easy stretch comparatively, and I was able to hike 28 mile days. This section of trail certainly made you feel like you were in the green tunnel. The main vistas came from fire towers above the tree line.

Enjoy the pics of VT!

Please don't rain
"And then there were three." Closing in on ME now!
The Long trail parallels the AT for a section.
Again... No rain, no pain, no Maine.

Pano shot from fire tower atop Strarton mountain.

Hiked up to watch sunrise and enjoy a cup of coffee from the tower.

Mt Bromley Ski resort... Can I take the chair lift?
That was just a green circle!?

Onward.. New Found
